The Stables holiday cottage at Ffynnonofi farm in pembrokeshire is the ideal holiday cottage for walkers as the Pembrokeshire coastal path is simply a short walk across the fields. There are stunning sea views from the cottage and cosy wood burning stoves to relax in front of when you return.

The coastline is spectacular both south towards Aberbach beach and north towards Dinas Island and Cwm-yr-Eglyws.

The cottage is perfectly placed for the Dinas Island walk and the Old Sailors Pub is just a short walk down the coastal path.

The walk to Newport bay from the farm provides some wonderful unspoilt coves incuding Aberforest and Aberrigian.

The Cottage is also perfectly placed for hill walking up into the Preseli Hills. Carningli and Garn Fawr mountains are both in walking distance and provide wonderful views over the north pembrokeshire coast.
There are ancient forts, standing stones and cromlechs to explore as well as the famous Pembrokeshire blue stones.

The Gwaun valley is also a major attraction with ancient forests, streams and waterfalls. There are old trader bridleways and pathways up through the valley into the Preselis. Not to be missed!

Tycanol forest is just a short drive away and is a real jewel with ancient mosses,swamps and twisted old Pembrokeshire trees. Combine this walk with a visit to the famous burial chamber at Pentre Ifan.

There are also organised walking tours around the town of Newport, revealing old paths up past the castle onto the peak of Carningli mountain.
